AGM Batteries

The AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) is a lead-acid battery in which electrolyte is absorbed in separators consisting of a spongy mass of glass fiber.
The condition of the electrolyte, the sealed container and the inside chemical "recombination" (VRLA) reaction make these batteries:
1- Really (MF – “Maintenance Free”);
2. Immune from the risk of accidental spillage of liquid acid;
3. Suitable for installation in close proximity to people and electronic equipment.
In addition, AGM technology makes this batteries particularly suitable for power applications in cold climates.
Typical applications are those in which the battery is subject to:
- Operate without maintenance;
- Special installations where there should be no risk of accidental spillage or leakage;
- Applications where there are cyclical and start the engine demands (gasoline engine);
- Operate in the presence of vibrations.
